Immigration Doctor Appointment

What to Bring to Your Immigration Doctor Appointment: A Checklist

Coming to an urgent care center for an immigration visit can seem worrisome, but the process for an Immigration Physical is quite simple and only requires a few steps. An Immigration Physical is necessary as part of your process for your United States green card or citizenship application. Take a look at what to expect during an Immigration Physical at FastCare.

You can expect a Medical History Review & Physical Examination. This is where our USCIS Civil Surgeon designated doctors take a look at all of the patient’s past medical history and will provide a physical exam. Our doctors, Dr. Korn & Dr. Fayeghi are civil surgeons and have been providing these services in South Florida for over a decade. They will fill out your I-693 forms and provide you with proper documentation packets.

Another step in the process is the Vaccination Verification. This is to ensure that the person going through the process has all of their vaccinations in accordance with the USCIS requirements. If any vaccinations are missing, they can be administered at the time of the appointment, or at any pharmacy of their choice. If necessary, some lab titers can be done to see if you had certain vaccinations in the past.

The visit will also include Lab Tests. We will draw blood and test it accordingly to the required USCIS guidelines.

It is understandable to be nervous when coming for an immigration related visit, but knowing what is coming can help guide you through the process of feeling calmer about everything. Here at FastCare, our medical team is with you throughout the entirety of the process; with the exam, paperwork, testing, and completion of the required I-693 forms.
